bfsync - Documentation - bfsync-sql-export

SYNOPSIS

bfsync sql-export [-d <database>] [-u <user>] [-w <password>]
                  [-H <host>] [-p <port>] [-r]

DESCRIPTION

Export a versioned list of files to postgres, in order to be able to browse the repository contents using standard sql queries. The postgres connection arguments (user/database/…) can be specified as commandline arguments, or in the config file. See the "CONFIGURATION" section of bfsync(1) for the config file entries that affect the sql-export command.

OPTIONS

-r

The export normally only adds the versions that are new since the last sql-export run. If the -r option is used, all database tables are cleared, and all versions from the beginning are exported.

-d <database>

Set postgres database name.

-u <user>

Set user for postgres database.

-w <password>

Set password for postgres database.

-H <host>

Set host for postgres database.

-p <port>

Set port for postgres database.
